AchievoEDU's built-in buddy program automatically or manually matches incoming Year 7s with Year 12 leaders — then keeps both engaged through challenges, points, and badges that matter.
Admins can run smart auto-matching in one click — the algorithm prioritises same-house pairs first, then fills remaining spots across houses. Or skip the algorithm entirely and drag-and-drop pairs by hand.
Every challenge awards XP that feeds directly into a student's character competency progression and contributes house points to the school-wide tally. Admins can enable, disable, or customise any challenge to suit their program.
Buddy badges are a Year 12-only category — unlocked by completing challenges with their mentee. They sit in a dedicated section on the Year 12's profile, visible to teachers and admins as proof of leadership contribution.
Year 7s and Year 12s select up to 10 interests on first login. The matching algorithm uses shared interests as a pairing signal.
Auto-match in one click — house priority first, then shared interests. Or assign pairs manually from the admin panel.
Each challenge earns XP for both students, house points for the pair's houses, and feeds the Year 12's character radar.
Exclusive badges unlock on the Year 12's profile as challenges are completed — visible proof of their leadership contribution.
