Frequently asked questions

Delete or export your data

Schools own their data. You have the right to request a full export of your school's data or to have it permanently deleted at any time — whether you are cancelling your subscription or simply exercising your rights under the Australian Privacy Act 1988.

Request data deletion

To permanently delete all data associated with your school — including student records, points history, badges, wellbeing data, and staff accounts — follow these steps:

  1. Email privacy@achievoedu.com.au from your school's registered administrator email address
  2. Use the subject line: Data Deletion Request — [Your School Name]
  3. Include your school name, your name, and your role (must be a School Administrator)
  4. Confirm that you understand deletion is permanent and irreversible
  5. We will verify your identity and respond within 5 business days to confirm the request
  6. All school data will be permanently deleted within 30 days of confirmation, and you will receive written confirmation when complete
Important: Data deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. If your school is cancelling its subscription, we recommend requesting a data export first (see below) so you retain a copy of your records.

Request a data export

You can request a full export of your school's data at any time — including student records, points and badges history, attendance data, and analytics. This is particularly important if you are cancelling your subscription and want to retain your records.

  1. Log in to the AchievoEDU platform as a School Administrator
  2. Navigate to Admin → School Setup → Data & Export to self-serve common exports (students, points, badges) directly from the platform
  3. For a complete school-wide data export, email privacy@achievoedu.com.au from your registered administrator email
  4. Use the subject line: Data Export Request — [Your School Name]
  5. Include your school name, your name, and your role
  6. We will prepare and deliver your export as a secure, encrypted file within 10 business days
Cancelling your subscription? Upon account closure you have 60 days to request a data export before your school's data is permanently deleted per our Privacy Policy.
