My Library

Tap the Library tab, then the Add button in the top right. You can search Google Books to auto-fill details, or enter everything manually. Tap "Add to Library" when you're done.

Open a book from your library and tap it to see its detail page. Enter your current page in the Progress section and tap Update. You can also start a timed reading session from the same screen.

My Library stores all data locally on your device. If you created a backup before uninstalling (Settings → Export Backup), you can restore it using Settings → Import Backup. Without a backup, data cannot be recovered.

Go to Settings → Backup & Restore → Export Backup. This saves a file you can store in iCloud, email to yourself, or keep anywhere you like. To restore, tap Import Backup and select the file.

Go to Settings → Account → Upgrade to Pro, then tap "Restore Purchase" at the bottom of the screen. Your purchase is tied to your Apple ID and can be restored on any device using the same account.

Connect your Kindle to your Mac via USB, copy the file at documents/My Clippings.txt to your iPhone or iPad, then go to Settings → Import Kindle Highlights and select the file. My Library will match highlights to books already in your library.

In the Library tab, tap the folder-plus icon in the header. Enter a name and tap Create. To delete a custom shelf, long-press its tab. Books on a deleted shelf stay in your library and can be re-shelved.

Make sure your device has an active internet connection — Google Books search is the only feature that requires one. All other features work fully offline. If the problem persists, try a more specific search term.
