Open the app → Settings → tap Restore Purchase. Your purchase is tied to your Apple ID or Google Play account and can be restored on any device signed in to the same account, at no additional charge.
All data is stored locally on your device. Deleting the app removes all records. To prevent data loss, use the Export to Cloud backup feature in Settings (Pro) before uninstalling, and restore from that backup file after reinstalling.
Go to Settings → Backup & Restore → Export to Cloud.
This creates a .crumb file that you can save to
iCloud Drive, Google Drive, OneDrive, or any storage provider.
To restore, tap Restore from Backup and select
the file.
Make sure notification permissions are granted for Crumb: go to your device Settings → Notifications → Crumb and enable Allow Notifications. On iOS, also check that Focus / Do Not Disturb is not blocking alerts.
Crumb is an offline-first app with no account or cloud sync in v1. You can use the backup and restore feature to transfer your data between devices manually. Multi-device iCloud sync is planned for a future release.
Crumb Pro is a one-time, non-recurring purchase — there is no subscription to cancel. You will never be charged again after the initial purchase.
Everything you log — your starters, feeds, bakes, and formulas — lives only on your device. Nothing is ever transmitted to any server.

Crumb is an independently developed mobile application. For any privacy-related questions, contact us at lindsay@achievoedu.com.au.
We collect no personal information.
All data you enter into Crumb — starter profiles, feed logs, bake records, formulas, timer settings — is stored exclusively in your device's local storage using Apple's and Google's on-device storage APIs. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly export a backup file yourself.
| Data type | Where it is stored | Shared with anyone? |
|---|---|---|
| Starter profiles & feed logs | On-device only | No |
| Bake records & photos | On-device only | No |
| Formula library | On-device only | No |
| Timer state & settings | On-device only | No |
| Backup files you export | Your chosen cloud storage | Only by you, to your own storage |
Crumb requests the following device permissions. Each is optional and used only for the stated purpose:
You can revoke any permission at any time in your device's Settings app. Revoking a permission only disables the related feature; the rest of the app continues to work normally.
Crumb Pro is purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. All payment processing is handled entirely by Apple or Google. Crumb does not receive, store, or process any payment card information. The only information we receive is a confirmation that a valid purchase exists, provided by the platform's built-in receipt validation.
Crumb contains no analytics SDKs, no advertising networks, no tracking pixels, and no third-party data collection of any kind. We do not use Firebase, Google Analytics, Facebook SDK, Mixpanel, Amplitude, Sentry, or any similar service.
Crumb does not integrate with any third-party services that collect user data. The app operates entirely offline. No data is sent to any external server at any time.
Crumb is rated 4+ and is appropriate for all ages. Because we collect no personal data from any user, there are no special considerations for users under 13 (COPPA) or under 16 (GDPR). No data collection occurs regardless of the user's age.
Because all data is stored only on your device, you have full control over it at all times:
We do not hold any copy of your data on any server, so there is nothing for us to delete on our end.
Your data is stored using your device's standard local storage APIs, which benefit from your device's built-in security (hardware encryption, passcode/biometric protection). We recommend keeping your device's operating system up to date and using a strong passcode.
Because Crumb does not collect, process, or store any personal data on any server, most formal data rights (access, portability, erasure, objection) are exercised directly on your device rather than through us.
If you have any privacy-related questions or concerns, contact us at lindsay@achievoedu.com.au and we will respond within 30 days.
If we ever change this policy in a material way, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, if the change is significant, notify users via an in-app notice on the next app launch. Continued use of Crumb after a policy change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
